S&P Global ranks CP AXTRA among the top 10% globally for sustainability, recognising its leadership in responsible business.

CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, the operator behind Makro and Lotus’s, has been recognised for its sustainability efforts, securing a spot in the top 10% of S&P Global’s 2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The company earned the Industry Mover award in the Food & Staples Retailing sector for the second consecutive year, ranking fourth globally with a score of 84 out of 100. It is also featured in The S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

CEO Tanin Buranamanit expressed pride in the achievement, stating that the recognition reflects CP AXTRA’s dedication to sustainable growth, benefiting both society and the environment.

Committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, CP AXTRA aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2050. This year, the company will install solar panels across 924 Makro and Lotus’s locations and continue efforts to reduce food waste through its Turning Waste to Worth programme.
