Jaspal Group, a major fashion and lifestyle brand in Southeast Asia, is pushing ahead with sustainable logistics by switching to electric trucks and cutting packaging waste.

The company has started using electric delivery trucks in Bangkok and nearby areas. These trucks transport goods from distribution hubs to retail stores. In 2024, this shift helped reduce carbon emissions by 2%. Jaspal plans to grow its electric fleet to six vehicles by 2025 for wider coverage in the provinces.

The shift is part of a broader supply chain effort. Jaspal now reuses cardboard boxes in a circular system between its distribution centres and stores. It also encourages customers to opt for recycled paper bags through regular campaigns.

Chief Executive Officer Charan Singhsachathet said the company focuses on clean energy and waste reduction to improve efficiency and lower costs. He stressed that real leadership in the fashion business means taking responsibility across the entire supply chain.

He noted that Jaspal uses sustainable materials, invests in cleaner logistics, and promotes conscious shopping habits. These actions align with the country’s Net Zero target for 2065.

Jaspal works with Schenker (Thai) Company Limited to run the electric transport programme.
