Krirk University has achieved a ranking in the global top 100 for Art and Design in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, making it the highest-ranked university in Thailand and placing 5th in China.
Global Recognition in QS Rankings
The 2025 QS World University Rankings by Subject, released on 12 March 2025 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), placed Krirk University in the 51–100 range globally for Art and Design. It outperformed institutions such as Tsinghua University, Tongji University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Peking University.
Krirk University is recognised for excellence in Art and Design. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings for this field, it was ranked 35th globally, 7th in Asia, and 1st in Thailand.
Consistent Growth in Asian Rankings
Krirk University has gained prominence in international rankings. At the QS Higher Education Summit in Macau in November 2024, the university was ranked 141st in Asia out of 8,000 institutions in the 2025 QS Asian University Rankings, maintaining its position in the top 150 for the third consecutive year. It remains the 5th highest-ranked university in Thailand.
Thailand has four universities in the QS Asian University Rankings top 150: Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, and Krirk University.
Leading Private University in Thailand
QS, a leading higher education research organisation, evaluates universities based on teaching and research quality. The top-ranked Asian institutions receive research funding from Thailand’s Ministry of Science and Technology. Krirk University is the only private university in Thailand ranked in the top 150 in Asia, securing 5th place nationally.
