BSRC Introduces New MGO Sea Transport Channel, Exceeds 2 Million Litres in Sales

Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC) has launched a sea-based distribution channel for Marine Gas Oil (MGO), replacing traditional land transport methods. The shift, implemented in August 2024, has resulted in cumulative sales surpassing 2.1 million litres, with volumes steadily climbing.

Senior Executive Vice President of Marketing, Mr. Warakorn Kosolpisitkul, highlighted BSRC’s advanced capabilities as a refinery and its strategic location near Laem Chabang Port in Chonburi. He explained that maritime transport of MGO leverages BSRC’s Gulf of Thailand access, enhancing distribution efficiency and market expansion.

BSRC supplies MGO to international maritime companies operating container ships, bulk carriers, refrigerated vessels, and liquid tankers. The fuel’s low emissions comply with current environmental standards, reflecting BSRC’s commitment to sustainability and a low-carbon business model aimed at driving long-term environmental progress.
