UOB Thailand introduced its 2025 Womenpreneur: Sustainability and Innovation Programme to back women-led businesses with digital and sustainable solutions. The launch took place in Bangkok on 4 April 2025.
Developed by UOB FinLab in partnership with the Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Development (CEED), the programme provides tools, expert mentoring, and access to a network focused on sustainability and innovation.
Workshops and mentorship sessions guide participants on how to apply eco-friendly methods in business, adopt new technologies, and grow sustainably in a digital-first economy.
Piyaporn Ratanaprasartporn, UOB Thailand’s Country Head of Channels and Digitalisation, stated that the initiative helps build resilience for female entrepreneurs. She said the bank is focused on supporting future-ready businesses using FinLab’s platforms and expert network.
From 185 applicants in Bangkok, 25 women from various industries were selected for the three-month programme, which runs from April to June 2025. Participants will explore new business models, test digital tools, and work on sustainable growth plans.
This project aligns with the bank’s broader effort to support inclusive and responsible business growth across Southeast Asia.
