There are 4.5 billion people in the world without meaningful access to quality healthcare. In Thailand alone, an estimated 88% of diabetics remain clinically uncontrolled — not because treatment does not exist, but because the system cannot reach them between appointments. For millions of patients, the choice is not between a good doctor and a bad one. It is between asking someone and asking no one.
SabaiHealth was built to change that.
SabaiHealth Pte. Ltd., the Singapore-headquartered personal care companion platform, has incorporated SabaiHealth (Thailand) Co., Ltd., establishing a formal operating presence in Thailand. The Thai entity enables Sabai to enter local clinical partnerships, engage government health bodies and participate in Thailand’s healthcare infrastructure as a domestically registered company — not a foreign application.
Built for Thailand, Not Translated for It
Sabai is one of the only care companions with genuine Thai-language capability, built locally for Thai users rather than translated from English templates. The distinction matters: real localisation is not translation. It is knowing that ชาไทย blocks iron absorption, that older Thai women managing chronic illness prefer LINE over any other channel, and that trust — not features — is what determines whether a patient asks for help at all.
Clinical governance in Thailand is led by Dr. Nara Decharin, Director of Sabai Health (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who anchors the company’s medical credibility and regulatory engagement in the market. The founding team — spanning insurance, technology and clinical medicine — brings decades of senior leadership across Asia to a problem that has long been treated as unsolvable at scale.

From Conversations to Clinical Outcomes
The results to date suggest that trust, once built, drives remarkable engagement. Thai users record the platform’s highest multi-day engagement rate and the deepest average interaction depth of any market — a reflection of the relationship Sabai builds, not merely the information it delivers. Weekly active users on the platform grew by over 200% between April and May 2026, with monthly retention nearly doubling over the same period.
Sabai is already live through HealthDeliver, one of Thailand’s healthcare provider networks, marking the company’s first formal B2B distribution partnership in the country.
At the same time, Sabai is working alongside healthcare partners on an ongoing proof-of-concept exploring how a care companion can support patients living with non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The initiative focuses on extending support beyond the clinic visit — helping patients stay engaged with medications, nutrition and daily health decisions between appointments.
The work is particularly relevant for conditions that, when left unmanaged, can contribute to a greater long-term disease burden, including chronic kidney disease (CKD). While clinical care begins inside the healthcare system, many of the decisions that shape outcomes happen at home. Sabai is designed to support patients during those moments when clinicians are no longer in the room.
Active discussions are underway with pharmacy networks, healthcare chains, wearables companies, government health agencies and telecommunications operators, as the company builds the distribution infrastructure for care at national scale.
The company’s pharmacy initiative targets Thailand’s network of 22,000 community outlets through QR-based access at point of sale — enabling patients to access personalised guidance via LINE or WhatsApp without any app installation. Phase two introduces medication refill tracking subject to PDPA compliance.
“Thailand is not an expansion market for us — it is a home market. Establishing a Thai entity is the right signal to send to partners, to patients and to the healthcare system we intend to be part of.”
