Bangchak Sparks Bold Thinking with ‘Wrong DI’ Innovation Program’s Second Edition

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has kicked off the second round of its internal innovation programme, Wrong DI: The Upcoming 2025, under the theme Bangchak NeXGen Tech for Greenovation. Group CEO and President Chaiwat Kovavisarach launched the initiative at the company’s M Tower headquarters in the afternoon.

He described Wrong DI as a key initiative to push forward new thinking and sustainable innovations across the company. The programme reflects the organisation’s values, especially “Innovation” from its core principles known as iambcp. Chaiwat said the company aims to build talent and innovation capacity to keep pace with global changes and support long-term sustainable growth.

Narupan Suthamkasem, Senior Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, highlighted the company’s current innovation priorities. These include clean energy, climate-related tech, bioproducts, better customer experiences in retail, circular economy practices, and the use of AI.

Three guest speakers also took part in the event. Chanchanit Bandhumasuta from Brand Health, Pimtai Suwannasuk of Ipsos Thailand, and Peesadech Pechnoi, founder of BASE Playhouse and tech content creator, shared insights. Their sessions focused on consumer research, sustainability through marketing, technology trends, and AI use in real life.

Driven by the Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC), with support from Corporate Strategy and Business Development and Organisation Development teams, Wrong DI gives staff a space to test daring ideas, develop green technology, and learn through both success and failure.
